For two summers I have been going to Cochabamba to work at Salomon Klein. At Salomon Klein, I learned becoming a human jungle gym and singing nursery rhymes can put smiles on multiple adorable faces all at once. When you go there you become so attached to the kids that you want to do everything in your power to help them. The people that work there are superheroes. They manage to feed, change, and offer love to 24 babies, in the infant room alone. The only problem is that without volunteers there are only two or three staff members meeting the needs of those 24 babies. That is the reason I want to raise money for Salomon Klein. More money = more staff. It is also the reason I encourage you to consider visiting and volunteering yourself. It is an experience you will never forget and will transform you into advocate for change.
